Hefei Hefeng Seed Co.,Ltd. was established in September 1997 with registered capital of 60 million yuan. It is one of the first licensed enterprises in Anhui Province after Ministry of Agriculture Order No. 3 of 2011. There are two branches, a scientific research institute and a municipal demonstration park of modern agricultural science and technology. Mainly engaged in rice, maize, cotton and melon and vegetable seed breeding, propagation, push integration work.
Under the care of leaders at all levels and through persistent efforts, the company has been awarded "Anhui City Leading Enterprise" and "Anhui City Advanced Enterprise". In 2008, former Vice Premier Hui Liangyu of the State Council visited Hefeng Seed Industry Co., Ltd. Guan Jingping, the general manager of the company, was successively appraised by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League as the "national Youth Entrepreneurs to become rich leaders" and "young outstanding entrepreneurs".
After years of market development and honest management, the company owns a series of products of melon, fruit and vegetable seeds. It is one of the first designated seed reserve units in Anhui Province. Through R&D and exclusive purchasing, the company has reserved a number of varieties with exclusive ownership. The rice varieties are: Zhongguang Silk Miao 5, Shenliangyou 884, Lu Liangyou 173 and Liangyou 1. 27, Anhui Rice 129, II You 8006, Nanjing 9108 and Nanjing 505; Hybrid maize mainly includes Gaoyu 2028, Jinlai 8, Jinlai 98, Jinsai 34, Jinsung 9, Huaihe 8 and Wanyu 11; wheat varieties are Huaime 36, Ningmai 23, Zhenmai 8, etc., and Hefeng brand varieties are characterized by high quality, high yield, multi-resistance and wide adaptability. It has been recognized by farmers, customer acclaim continues to improve, and seed sales have risen year after year. It has established a marketing network system centered on Anhui Province, which radiates the surrounding Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hunan provinces and touches the whole country.
